The stay at the chateau was a dream. The superior double room had huge windows overlooking the stunning grounds, making the space feel bright and airy. The old-world charm really transported me back in time. Breakfast was a daily highlight, featuring buttery croissants, homemade cakes, and local fruit that set a delightful tone for the morning. Breakfast served in the old kitchen with the massive fireplace created an inviting atmosphere. I loved the attentive service from Alain and Sylvie, who ensured that we felt at home. A tour of the chateau was a unique touch and enhanced my appreciation for its rich history. there were limited dining options nearby, especially since we visited during the week. One restaurant was open, leading to some difficulty in making dinner plans. the enchanting surroundings and comforting accommodations made my stay memorable, despite a few dining inconveniences.
